Terms of Service

Last updated: February 12, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WebhookWatch regarding your access to and use of the Service.

1. Service Description

WebhookWatch provides automated monitoring of user-defined HTTP and webhook endpoints by making periodic outbound requests and recording availability, response status, and related metadata.

2. Monitoring Frequency & Request Limits

  • Starter Plan: once every five (5) minutes, equivalent to 288 requests per endpoint per day.
  • Pro Plan: once every one (1) minute, equivalent to 1,440 requests per endpoint per day.

Monitoring intervals are fixed by plan and are not subject to customization.

3. Fair Use Policy

Users agree that they will not, and shall not permit any third party to:

  • Intentionally configure endpoints that generate excessive failures
  • Use the service for stress testing or load testing
  • Abuse the service in a way that degrades system stability
  • Circumvent plan limits or monitoring intervals

WebhookWatch reserves the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate monitoring for violations of this Fair Use Policy.

4. Network, Quotas, and Third-Party Limitations

WebhookWatch shall not be liable for failures caused by:

  • Network outages or latency
  • API rate limits or third-party quotas
  • Firewall, WAF, CDN, or geo-blocking restrictions
  • Endpoint unavailability or misconfiguration

5. Firewall Configuration & IP Whitelisting

Monitoring requests originate from:

167.71.159.181

Users are responsible for ensuring any required whitelisting of this IP. WebhookWatch shall not be liable for failures caused by blocked access.

6. User Agent Identification

All monitoring requests include the following identifier:

User-Agent: WebhookWatch

7. Plan Changes, Upgrades, and Downgrades

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated in accordance with Paddle’s subscription policies. Downgrades are prorated in accordance with Paddle’s subscription policies and take effect at the next billing period unless otherwise specified. Billing adjustments are processed through Paddle.

WebhookWatch shall not be liable for missed incidents due to plan downgrades or reduced monitoring frequency.

8. Service Availability Disclaimer

WebhookWatch is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

No warranties or guarantees are provided regarding uninterrupted service or the absence of false positives.

9. Account Eligibility and Responsibilities

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and, if acting on behalf of an organization, represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding login credentials.

10. Endpoint Ownership and Authorized Use

You shall monitor only endpoints you own, operate, or are expressly authorized to test. You are solely responsible for ensuring monitoring activity complies with applicable laws, contracts, and third-party terms.

11. Endpoint Configuration and Monitoring Behavior

The Service permits you to configure endpoint names, URLs, HTTP methods, expected status ranges, timeouts, and pause state. Monitoring is performed using these settings and may be subject to delays due to queueing, network conditions, or third-party limitations.

12. Incident Detection and Alerts

Incidents are detected based on monitoring results and are recorded with failure counts, timestamps, status codes, and error details. Email alerts are sent to configured alert channels for incident openings and recoveries. Delivery of alerts depends on email providers and user configuration, and is not guaranteed.

13. Dashboard, Reporting, and Historical Data

The dashboard provides monitoring status, recent checks, open incidents, uptime summaries, and incident history. Historical data availability and retention are determined by plan limits and operational requirements.

14. Plan Limits and Feature Availability

Plan tiers determine endpoint limits, monitoring frequency, and historical incident retention. Features and limits may vary by plan and are enforced automatically. Attempted use beyond plan limits may be blocked or curtailed.

15. Billing, Subscriptions, and Payment Processing

Paid subscriptions are processed through Paddle as Merchant of Record. Subscription status, renewals, cancellations, taxes, and refunds are governed by Paddle’s terms and applicable laws. WebhookWatch does not store full payment card data.

Proration applies when you upgrade or downgrade a subscription.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date through Paddle.

If you cancel a paid subscription, cancellation handling, timing of access changes, and any refund eligibility are managed through Paddle and subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and policies. Upgrade or downgrade behavior follows the plan change rules above.

16. Refund Policy

WebhookWatch uses Paddle as its Merchant of Record. All payments, billing, and refunds are processed by Paddle in accordance with Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Customers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, subject to Paddle’s refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted through Paddle’s support channels.

17. No Service Level Agreement

The Service is provided without any service level agreement (SLA), uptime guarantee, or service credits. Planned maintenance, emergency maintenance, and unplanned outages may occur without notice.

18. Suspension, Termination, and Enforcement

WebhookWatch may suspend or terminate access to protect the Service, enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, or address suspected abuse. You may discontinue use of the Service at any time.

19. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through account settings or by contacting support. Deleting your account removes access to the Service and schedules removal of monitoring configurations and related service data, subject to operational, legal, and billing retention requirements.

Some records (such as invoices, payment confirmations, and legal compliance logs) may be retained for audit or regulatory purposes.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebhookWatch shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to the Service, including missed incidents or delayed notifications.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebhookWatch from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, monitored endpoints, submitted data, or violation of these Terms.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any disputes arising under these Terms.

23. Changes to Terms

WebhookWatch may revise these Terms from time to time.

Revised Terms become effective upon posting, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
